Whakapaingia
Whakapaingia comes from Aotearoa (New Zealand) born from a long line of Maori healers and leaders. Friends call him Waka. He is the spiritual heartbeat of the AcroLove movement helping people become better versions of themselves through Acro Yoga (therapeutic flying and acrobatics), Dance (Haka), and bodywork (Thai yoga massage).
Having always been a warrior and athlete, Waka found the healing power of acropeutics and the joy of acrobatics when he was living in California as a semi-professional rugby player. After years of high-intensity collisions causing trauma and damage in his body, he has spent the past 15 years healing his mind body and spirit using the Waka way, yoga, thai massage, dance and the gift of “therapeutic flight”.
Waka has traveled around the world, sharing this practice of unconditional loving kindness by flying humans at festivals, on cruise ships, movie sets, mansions, floors of bars and on the street helping thousands of people find the gifts of trust, joy, laughter, play, balance, and release.
Whakapaingia’s passions and knowledge helps create better, happier humans.
